Armonk, NY Residence
The project included modifications to the first and second floors. The first floor modifications included a new Family Room and Kitchen with large window/doors and direct access to a new deck in the rear of the house. Also, a new garage to the side of the house with space in the rear was studied. The Bathroom was re-located and a larger entry was created to provide a more open space/area/entry to the house. The second floor received a new master suite. The access to the second-floor space was reviewed along with enlarging the existing bedrooms. DA+ provided the necessary professional services to complete each phase of design and construction.
Mamaroneck, NY Residence
The renovation will include modifications to the existing Basement, First, and Second Floors.
Modifications to the Basement includes the Garage, re-locating the existing Mechanical Room because of the potential of flooding, overall design modifications and stabilization of the footing and foundation as needed based on the structural analysis. The elevator and stair, based on the first/second floor design, may be re-located.
The First Floor modifications includes a Master Bedroom with a Bathroom, Walk-in Closets, direct access to a Private Office and access to the outside from both the Master Bedroom and the Office. An additional Guest Bedroom and Bathroom, new Entry with a visual connection through the house to the rear and ultimately a view of the water, a Kitchen, Wine Storage, Dining Room, Laundry Room and a Mudd Room will be provided. The objective of creating both open space and smaller, more intimate spaces with privacy was heard loud and clear.
The Second Floor modifications will include a secondary/dual Master Bedroom with an Office/Sitting Area, additional Bedrooms, Closets and Bathrooms. The spaces will also be designed to maximize exterior views/space.
Central Thornwood, NY Residence
The renovation/addition included modifications to the existing first floor including a Mud Room/Laundry Room at the existing garage with direct access into the main house, a new Kitchen/Dinette, Family Room, Bathroom and modifications to the entry. The second-floor included a new Master Bedroom Suite above their existing garage with a bathroom and closets. Two additional bedrooms and a bathroom were provided.
Northeast Thornwood, NY Residence
The project included modifications/addition to the first and second floors. We incorporated modifications to the client’s design requirements. The first floor modifications included a new Kitchen with a large island, Dinette, Pantry, Family Rm with direct connection to the Kitchen, Powder Rm, etc. A new second floor was updated to provide a new Master Bedroom Suite, three additional Bedrooms, Bathrooms, Closets.
Valhalla, NY, Kitchen Remodel & Interior Renovations
The interior renovation included interior modifications to the Kitchen, Laundry Room, Mudroom areas, including enclosing the existing Breezeway and incorporating the space into the Mudroom. We also conducted a study the existing patio and provide options to cover the patio and visually connect to the Kitchen.
Valhalla, NY Residential Expansion
The proposed renovation/addition included modifications to the existing first floor including expanding the right side of the house to incorporate an additional garage bay and master bedroom, modify the existing mud room/laundry room and provide a new kitchen/family room with access to the rear yard, incorporating natural light, spatial continuity and flow between living spaces.
